Barcelona kill the copa del rey semifinal tie against Valencia in the first leg as they ran to 3-0 lead in first 30 minutes. Luis Suarez scored twice in 7th and 12th minute while Iniesta, Neymar, Suarez and Messi combined superbly as Messi scored the third of the night. Both Suarez and Messi added two more after break to complete their hattricks and win the game for Barcelona 7-0. Valencia vs Barcelona Preview: On paper this is a massive game in Spain but in terms of competitive nature there is only one result coming to mind with Barcelona winning the first leg comfortably. Gary Neville’s has been under real pressure having failed to win the a single La Liga game since his appointment and a big defeat against Barcelona in the first leg might end his short unsuccessful stint as Valencia manager.
Barcelona has won Copa Del Rey for record 27 times and this season they have been absolutely sensations in all competitions, specially at home. Luis Enrique side has not conceded more than 1 goal in a home game which makes Valencia’s task a bit more difficult. Both teams meet earlier in the season back in december when Santi Mina’s late goal canceled out Suarez strike to earn surprising 1-1 draw for Valencia and Gary Neville will be hoping atleast a similar result so that they can have something to play for in second leg.
